The newborn stage isn't about the perfect poses in a bucket. They're about the way your family comes together. the cuddles on the couch, the sleepy mornings, and the quiet moments that mark the beginning of a brand-new chapter. It's these moments you'll one day realize passed far too quickly.

There is something incredibly special about bringing a new baby home. The days are slow and fast all at once. You're learning one another, settling into new routines, and discovering a love that's impossible to put into words.


That's why I photograph newborns at home — because this is where your story begins.


Your baby's nursery. The rocking chair where you spend countless hours together. The couch where siblings climb in for snuggles. These are the places that become part of your family's memories, and they deserve to be remembered just as they are.


My sessions are calm, unhurried, and completely baby-led. We'll pause for feedings, diaper changes, and cuddles whenever needed. There is never a rush and never an expectation that your baby will sleep the entire time.

Everything your baby needs is already at home, which means you can relax, settle into your favorite chair, and simply enjoy these first days together while I document them as they unfold.

Some of my favorite photographs happen in those quiet moments between feedings, while you're comforting your baby or simply soaking in this brand-new season of life.

What if my baby won't sleep?

That's completely okay! Honestly, it's much more common than you might think.

Your baby's comfort always comes first. We'll pause whenever they need to eat, cuddle, or settle, and we'll pick back up when things have calmed. Some of my favorite images happen while parents are soothing, rocking, or simply holding their baby, so these are still photo opportunities.

When should I schedule my newborn session?

It's definitely best to contact me well before your due date to ensure you can get on the calendar. If you've already delivered, still reach out because I can often still get you in.

The best time to do the newborn session is usually within the first two weeks after birth, while they're still especially sleepy and curled up. That said, there isn't a deadline. Whether your baby is five days old or five weeks old, we can create beautiful images that celebrate this season.

What if my baby arrives early or late?

That's completely expected! When you book your session, we'll reserve space around your due date instead of choosing a fixed day. Once your baby arrives, we'll finalize your session date together. There's no need to worry about guessing the perfect day months in advance.

Can we include our pets?

Of course! They are part of the family and are absolutely invited to join us. Whether they join us for a few photos or stay for the entire session is completely up to you...and them. We will do what we can but won't force anything.

My house isn't picture perfect. Is that okay?

Absolutely! We all know the perfect Pinterest house is unrealistic anyways.

You don't need a spotless house or a perfectly styled nursery.Your home doesn't have to look perfect. It just has to feel like home.
