The best family photographs aren't about perfect smiles. They're about the way your toddler wraps their arms around your neck, the laughter that fills your living room, and the little moments you don't realize you'll miss until they're gone.

I believe the most meaningful photographs com from real moments and honest connection. That's why I photograph families in the place where their life is already happening  —  your home.


No pressure to perform, no need for perfect. Just your people, your story, and the beautifully ordinary moments you never want to forget.


No asking kids to sit still. No forcing smiles. Just your family being your family.



During your in-home session, we’ll do things you already love — piggyback rides down the hallway, tickle fights on the couch, big bear hugs in the kitchen, cozy cuddles piled up together. We might dance, play, snuggle, or take a break when someone needs it. There’s no “right” way to do this.

Your family doesn't have to perform.

You don't have to worry about perfect smiles or whether your toddler sits still. I'll gently guide you when needed, but the best moments usually happen when everyone forgets the camera is even there. You're simply living your best life, not putting on a show.

Home is my

favorite backdrop

What if my kids don't cooperate?

I hear this all the time, and honestly, I don't expect them to always do everything. Heck, I don't always like to be told what to do either. We work around it, give them time and space to decide to join in on the fun when they're ready. There is no pressure for them to perform. We can easily switch gears and do something else.

My house isn't picture perfect. Is that okay?

That's totally ok! I promise, it doesn't need to be.


Most families feel this way, but you don't need a magazine-worthy home for beautiful photographs. Most of the pictures you see in my portfolio, you probably didn't even notice the house. It's what's going on IN the picture that people pay attention to.

Can we include our pets?

Of course! They are part of the family and are absolutely invited to join us. Whether they join us for a few photos or stay for the entire session is completely up to you...and them. We will do what we can but won't force anything.

When is the best time to schedule our session?

Anytime! Life happens all year, not just the fall. I only schedule one session a week so make sure to keep that in mind when trying to plan when you'd like them done.

Do we have to smile at the camera?

Not unless you want to. The only time is if you want what I call the "Christmas Card Photo". We will knock one of those out then be on our way with the rest of the session. The heart of your gallery will be full of the laughter, the hugs, the movement, and the way your family naturally interacts. Those are the magical moments that I'm after.
