Most who know me, know I am very much an empathic person, this is actually one of the reasons I am so great at what I do, so you can imagine the emotional impact of being a birth photographer can have on me. People often worry and stress over when the best time is to get pictures taken. Is it in the fall when all the colors are golden or in the spring when everything is in bloom?

This session started all the way back in the second grade. That’s when I met Jill. Neither of us knew it then, but 25+ years later we both know we are meant to be in each other’s lives. In college we dreamed of the day we’d both have kids (at the exact same time, of course!) and how they’d grow up to be best friends too. Little did we know, that’s not what was quite in the cards for us. Nearly seven years after I started my own brood, this little dude was born. IView full post »
